Ooltewah High Senior Receives Hamilton County Republican Women's Scholarship Award

Hamilton County Republican Women announced Peyton Oliver, a senior at Ooltewah High School, is this year's recipient of the annual Scholarship Award.  

Current President Faye Robinson and past President Patsy Henry presented the award to Peyton.

The qualifications for this scholarship include submission of an essay, academic standing and a focus on character, citizenship and patriotism. Selection of the scholarship is teacher-based. 

Peyton will attend Berry College in the fall, major in Business/Marketing, and continue his love of sports as a member of the Berry College football team. Most significantly, Peyton is continuing his personal and overarching goal to achieve the "American Dream" by becoming a first generation college graduate in his family.
