Marion L. Clark, 73, of Cleveland, Tennessee, died on Saturday, April 30, 2016, in her home with her family.
She was born in Paragould, AR on March 22, 1943, to the late Walter and Helen Smith. She was a member of West Cleveland Baptist Church. She loved taking care of her family, cooking, sewing, knitting, quilting, singing in the church choir, and researching family ancestry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Tony West of St. Louis, MO.
She is survived by her loving husband, James “J.L.” Clark; her sister, Lajuana West of St. Louis, MO; her children; Kelli Bryson of Cleveland, Dan Reeves-McKinzey of Kodiak, AK, Jay Clark (Jennifer) of Cleveland, Sherry Clark Farmer of Cleveland and Curtis Clark (Jeannine) of Benton, TN; her grandchildren, Courtney Clark of Cleveland, Chris Clark of Goodlettsville, Jacob Clark, Brooklyn Calfee-Sewell and Dawson Hindman all of Cleveland, Victoria and Madison Farmer of Knoxville, Emma and Jesse Clark both of Benton and Mia McKinzey of Kodiak, AK; one great-grandson Jackson Ross; and a very special friend, Mary Breen.
The Remembrance of Her Life will be Friday, May 6, at West Cleveland Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. followed by a service officiated by her Brother In Christ, Doyle Hawkins. The family will hold a private burial service the following day.
