Beulah Fay “Granny Ann” Higgins, 73, of Powell's Crossroads, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016.
She was retired from Western Sizzlin' Steak House where she worked for 28 years as a cook. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Rabon Higgins, Sr.; parents, William “Bill” Newt and Hazel Coffman Hargis; sister, Edna May Hargis; and brothers, Robert Hargis and Donald Ray Hargis.
She is survived by her children, Keith (Trina) Higgins of Jasper and Lonnie Rabon Higgins, Jr. of Whitwell; grandchildren, Alex (Sarah) Higgins, Zack Higgins and Ben (Erica) Higgins; great-grandson, Landon Higgins; sister, Mary (Mike) Simmons of Sequatchie; brothers, John (Wanda) Hargis, Bill (Lisa) Hargis both of Jasper, George (Polly) Hargis of Atlanta, GA and Roy (Linda) Hargis of South Pittsburg; aunts, Mary Guffey Yarbrough and Ann Hargis Wilson; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 3, at Victory Baptist Church in Jasper with Reverends Doug Carpenter and Mike Graham officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Cemetery in Powell's Crossroads.
Family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1 and 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 2.
