Willie Ruth Murray, 71, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016.
She had worked as a nursing assistant and was of the Baptist faith.
Ruth was the daughter of the late Walter and Madge Coffelt Murray; and was also preceded in death by her brothers, Joe Ed, Chuck, Marvin, Ernest, Hubert, John Walter, Howard and Raymond Murray; and sisters, Louella and Mary Alice Murray, Lillie Mae Turner, Katherine Case and Sue Stewart.
Ruth is survived by her son, James Layne Murray (Missy Bice); daughter, Tina Ridley (Pete); sisters, Louise Mayfield and Virginia Nelson; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CDT, Friday, June 3, with Bro. Ronnie Case officiating. Interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12-8 p.m. CDT, Wednesday, June 1 and 1-8 p.m. CDT, on Thursday, June 2.
