Howard Varner, 74, of Soddy Daisy, died on Monday, May 30, 2016.
Howard was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening. He was also a United States Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Grace Varner; brothers, Earl, Lewis, Wayne, and Noel Varner; and sister, Jimmie Ruth Nolan.
He is survived by his companion in life, Joann Hickman; brothers, Clarence, Wallace, Arthur, Gerald, Elmer, and Douglas Varner; sister, Nellie Lipp; grandchildren, Autumn and Damain Hickman; special great grandson, Adien Wells; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, at Legacy Funeral Home.
There will be no services.
