Fred Hester, 65, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Saturday, May 28, 2016, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Hester was employed with Planters Cooperation in Chattanooga for nearly 27 years as an environmental specialist. He also enjoyed his hobby working on antique cars and spending time with his family.
Mr. Hester is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Jessie Hester and two sisters, Dorothy Jones and Ann Walker.
Survivors include his wife, Betsy Hester, son, Vann (Amber) Hester, daughters, Stacy (Gary) Quinn and Misty (Stephen) Radcliff, two sisters, Hazel Frady and Mary Yates, brother, Bobby Hester, Grandchildren, Seth Hester, Caleb Hester, Kylie Collins, Khloe Hester, Evan, Alec and Carly Radcliff, several nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 30, from 4–8 p.m.
Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
