Arthur F. Lovain, 85, of Delano, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at an Etowah health care facility.
He raised, trained and showed Arabian horses for 40 plus years. He retired from Chrysler Motors after 32 years working in skilled trades.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Katie Lovain; sisters, Katherine King and Mildred Reeves; and brothers, Ralph Lovain and George Lovain.
He is survived by his wife, Ruthann Schultz; daughter, Sandra McPhee; grandchildren, Crystal Kohler, Bryan Kopsolsis and Melinda Kopsolsis; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, at West Hill Cemetery in Dalton, GA.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
