Gary Taylor
Gary “KaKa” Taylor, 57, died on May 27, 2016 in a local hospital.
He was a graduate of Howard High School class of 1977. He was employed with the city of Chattanooga for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Casper Wells; sisters, Brenda Taylor, Loretta McShan and Sharon Owens.
Survivors include his loving mother, Lindy Taylor; daughter, Marquita (Jonathan) Crawford, Nashville; grandson, Johnathan Crawford II, Nashville; sister, Phyllis, (Robert) Davis, Jr., Clarksville, Tn.; brother, Adolph Taylor, Chattanooga.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, in the chapel with Reverend Jimmy Ingram officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
