Mary Murray
Mary Ellen Murray, 88, of Rising Fawn, Georgia, died on Thursday, May 26, 2016.
She was a member of Rising Fawn Baptist Church and was retired as a Registered Nurse working in the Coronary Care Unit at Hutcheson Medical Center. She was a graduate of Dalton Junior College School of Nursing.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Murray; parents, Ulis Orville and Josie Floyd Crowder; brother, Fred Crowder; two sisters, Irene Suits and Lora Jean Bales.
Survivors include her daughter, Christie McMahan; son, Allen Redd; several grandchildren; sister, Virginia Shahan; two brothers, Robert Crowder and Jim Crowder; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Reverend Tommy Crider officiating. Burial will be in Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
