Local Freedom's Foundation Award Winners

The Tri-State Chapter of the Freedom's Foundation at Valley Forge honored three local students who submitted essays by sending them to their Spirit of America Youth Leadership Conference held in Valley Forge, Pa.  

Awards winners were Kaitlyn Butler of Decatur High School, King Jemison of McCallie School, and Will Driscoll of McCallie School.

"The mission of the Freedom's Foundation is to preserve the ideals and principals upon which the United States was founded and to encourage good citizenship," officials said.
