Robert “Bob” Thomas Benedict, 59, of Ooltewah, died on Saturday, May 21, 2016.

He was a graduate of Central High School and he attended U.T. Knoxville as well as U.T. Chattanooga where he earned a associate business degree. Bob never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face.

Bob was a business owner and enjoyed a career in sales.  He was a huge sports fan especially UT Sports.  He also enjoyed coaching softball as well as watching his daughter play. His love of cars and bikes were a big part of his life and spending time with his family and friends was very important to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rome Duane and Dorothy McDermott Benedict.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Frisbee Benedict; daughter, Reagan Barrett Benedict; brother, Rome Duane Benedict, III; sisters, Gail Ann Benedict, Dorothy Colleen Benedict and Pegeen Lee Benedict.

Funeral services will be a 6 pm. on Friday, May 27, in the funeral home chapel with family friend Tom Butler speaking.
