Bobby Stone
Robert F. "Bobby" Stone has been charged in an attack on his wife, Lacie Stone, a top aide to Mayor Andy Berke.
Stone, 54, is charged with domestic assault and vandalism.
In the incident on Friday, police said Ms. Stone called a friend at the police department, saying "her husband was going to kill her."
She said they got into a verbal argument that turned physical in a struggle over her phone.
Ms. Stone said after he got the phone, it was crushed during the altercation.
She said Stone grabbed her by the belt while she was on the floor and dragged her out of the house, while telling her to leave.
Stone said he was struck in the forehead during the struggle over the phone. Police said this apparently happened while she was "trying to keep her property."
Ms. Stone said while she was starting to leave in her SUV that Stone threw a large rock through the back window, causing it to shatter.
