  • Monday, May 2, 2016

The Erlanger Health System and the Lookouts baseball team at AT&T Field will host a two-game event on Saturday, May 14 at 7:15 p.m. and Sunday, May 15 at 2:15 p.m.

Come celebrate with Erlanger during “Strike Out Stroke” with the Lookouts on Saturday, May 14 at 7:15 p.m. against the Biloxi Shuckers.  Stroke survivors and medical specialists will be there to raise awareness and educate fans on the signs and symptoms of stroke.  As the region’s only ComprehensiveStroke Center, Erlanger has earned the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission for Comprehensive Stroke Centers, recognizing that Erlanger’s stroke program follows national standards and guidelines that significantly improve outcomes for stroke patients.

On Sunday, May 15, Erlanger will recognize emergency medical service personnel and other rescue and medical agencies for “First Responder Night” at the Lookouts game against the Biloxi Shuckers beginning at 2:15 p.m.  In recognition of Erlanger’s partnership with the region’s first responders and over 26 years as the region’s only Level 1 Trauma Center, the first 100 police, fire or EMS personnel who show their employee ID will receive two free admission tickets to the game.  Weather and medical flights permitting, fans will experience a LIFE FORCE air medical landing as members of the crew deliver the afternoon’s game ball.

Tickets for both nights can be purchased by calling 423-267-4849.
