Virginia Claudene McCurter
Virginia Claudene McCurter, 86, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Monday, May 2, 2016.
Virginia was born in Hackleburg, Al., to the late Sherman and Mary Cleveland. She was a member of East Ridge Church of Christ where she was also employed as a custodian for over 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Chester McCurter; her parents; three brothers; and three sisters.
Surviving are her daughter, Debbie (Phil) Harris; grandchildren, Heather and Steven Harris; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, at the funeral home with Minister Charles Cochran officiating.
Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to East Ridge Church of Christ.
