Paul Earl Morrison, Sr., 84, of Rocky Face, Georgia, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the home of his daughter, Paula Linville.
Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Pauline Morrison; his parents, Paul and Annie Morrison; a sister, Mildred Cox; a grandson, Paul Jerry Morrison; and a great-grandson, Christian Linville.
He was a member of Lindsey Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Danny Grant of Rocky Face, Paula and Steve Linville of Rocky Face, Patricia and Daniel Oliver of Crossville, AL and Pamela Rodgers-Klingbeil and husband Cliff Klingbeil of Atlanta; a son, Paul (Buddy) Morrison, Jr. of Rocky Face; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 3, at 2 p.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Gribble and Rev. Scott Hobbs officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Linville, Derrick Linville, Danny Oliver, Dewayne Lankford, Matthew Oliver, Cory Rodgers and David Lankford. Burial will be in Lindsey Memorial Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 2, from 5-9 p.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home.
