Billy Joe Rogers, Bradley County Inmate Found Unconscious On Thursday, Dies On Sunday

Billy Joe Rogers, an inmate who was found unconscious inside the Bradley County Correctional Facility on Thursday afternoon, died at Erlanger Medical Center on Sunday.

Rogers was transported by Bradley County Emergency Medical Services to Erlanger. 

District Attorney Steve Crump and the 10th Judicial District Attorney’s Office were immediately notified about the incident, and requested assistance from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, it was stated. 

TBI agents went to the jail to investigate the circumstances that led to the occurrence.
