Bo Duncan
Claude Lamar “Bo” Duncan, died on Friday, April 29, 2016, at his residence. He was 83.
He was born on March 6, 1933 in Chattanooga, and attended Hardy Junior High School and was a member of the Class of 51 at City High School.
Bo was a retired electrician and a 65-year member of IBEW Local #760. He was an avid golfer and a member of Creeks Bend Golf Club, Lakeside Youth Association and a recipient of the Dizzy Dean Lifetime Achievement Award.
He was a member of Bayside Baptist Church and the Freemasons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Neriah Duncan, wife, Nancy Duncan and brother, Doyle Jack Duncan.
Survivors include his three children, Cindy (Charlie) Young, of Harrison, Terri (Don) Ricketts, of Chattanooga, Jeff (Karen) Duncan, of Harrison, seven grandchildren, Kayley (Taylor) Brown, Kyle Young, Misti (George) Swanson, Amber Ricketts, Christina Duncan, Stephanie Duncan, Allison Duncan, five great grandchildren, Hunter Ricketts, Jacob Swanson, Brooklyn Swanson, Elijah Lendering, Hayze Duncan and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Mason and Reverend Sterling Jetton officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2–8 p.m. on Monday, May 2, at the funeral home.
