Taste Of Ooltewah And Harrison Rescheduled To May 15

  • Friday, April 29, 2016
Taste of Ooltewah and Harrison, originally scheduled for May 1, has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 15, due to heavy thunderstorms in the weather forecast.

All tickets for the May 1st date will be honored. If you cannot make it to the rescheduled date, please contact Miranda at district9edfund@gmail.com.

The second annual Taste of Ooltewah and Harrison will include 70 vendors, special performances, music entertainment from the local band The Dudes and DJ’s Sound and Music. The event is free, but foodies can taste 2oz samples from different participating restaurants in exchange of tickets. Tickets are $20 for 10 tickets.  Tickets can be purchased at the following participating locations: Midnite Oil in Ooltewah, Legacy Real Estate located in Cambridge Square, The Legends at White Oak Apartments, Thrifty MedPlus in Ooltewah, The Village at Apison Pike Apartments, and The Tinker Fairie’s Cottage in Ooltewah.  Tickets will available for purchase at The Taste of Ooltewah and Harrison as well.

During the Taste of Ooltewah and Harrison, there will be two different competitions.  The Taste Champion will be determined upon the food vendor who has the most tickets at the end of event.  The Caterer Competition outcome will be determined by our attending foodies.  Foodies will vote for their favorite participating food vendor’s samples’ taste, quality, and appearance.  The Caterer Competitor who has the most votes will win the catering job for D9’s Visionary Lunch with Miss America on June 15 at the Hunter Museum.
