Eugene Francis Allen, 76, of Rome, Georgia, died on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at his residence.
Mr. Allen was born Sept. 25, 1939, in Central Falls, RI, son of the late Earl Dexter and Francis Minnie Blood Allen. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an insurance salesman with Century 21.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sue Simpson Allen; second wife, Barbara Ball Allen; and a brother, David Allen.
Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Allen; sons, Tim Allen, Greg Allen, and Richard Allen; daughter, Linda Allen; sisters, Earleen Rash and Diana Pratt; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Allen was cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
