The 9th Annual Chocolate Fling Benefit for Epilepsy Foundation of Southeast Tennessee was a great success.

Thank you to those who came out to help us help the 1 in 100 who have epilepsy, and their community.  Chocolate was abundant, the auction was fun, and our new live auction had some great items including Disneyworld passes and a 43-inch television.

Next year, you want to make sure to come.  Spring of 2017 will be the Decade of Decadence celebration at the 10th Chocolate Fling Benefit!  Stay tuned on social media, and sign up for the e-mail list.  Stay connected and in the loop as the foundation focuses on its mission of working to ensure that people with seizure disorders are able to participate in all life experiences and overcome the challenges created by epilepsy.

Co-hosts were James Howard and Kim Carson from WDEF Sunny 92.3 Morning Show.  A special thanks to Kim Stone auctioneer, vocalist April Sinclair, Education Services Director Rita Moore and Mickey McCamish, executive director.

The winners were....

People’s Choice - The Chocolate Box

Judge’s Choice - TerraMae Appalachian Bistro

Also Considered Delicious - Publix Bakery

Most Creative Display - Cupcake Kitchen

Dr. Michael Fang, Orig3n, offered onsite testing by obtaining teaspoon quantities of blood draw, and makes a profile of your own stem cells from it.  They can also run a DNA panel to tell you if you are predisposed to anything, and will test your blood using new therapies for what you have, or might have, rather than testing on you.

The foundation is a non-profit agency providing educational, vocational, and outreach services to people with epilepsy, their families and their communities. The Epilepsy Foundation of Southeast Tennessee leads the fight to stop seizures, find a cure and overcome the challenges created by epilepsy.

Provides:

Prescription Assistance for AED's

Client Support and Case Management

Direct Group and Individual Seizure Recognition & First Aid Training

Monthly Support Group
