Preston T. McFalls, 65, of Cleveland, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in a local hospital while surrounded by his family.
He was born in Cleveland, TN on January 24, 1951 a son of the late Reverend Beecher McFalls and Nellie Cofer McFalls. Prior to his retirement he worked for various local grocery stores.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Alexander & Nervy McFalls, Mittie Newman and Freda & Fred McFalls.
He is survived by his loving wife, Darlinda Sampson McFalls; one son, Kenneth Wayne McFalls; three grandchildren, Megan McFalls, Melinda McFalls and Austin McFalls-Smith; one sister, Brenda McFalls Morrow and her husband Don; numerous other extended family members; and a host of special friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Thursday, April 28 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend James Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in the Beaty-Triplett Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. service time in the funeral home parlor.
