Barnett, Gregory Phillip

  • Monday, April 18, 2016

Gregory Phillip Barnett, 62, of Ringgold, died at home on Monday, April 18, 2016, after a long illness which finally confined him to very limited activity.

He was the son of Dempsey and the late Eunice Barnett, born March 9, 1954.  He attended Lakeview High School.

Phillip was employed for many years in the transportation industry as a driver and long distance independent operator. He was baptized into the Baptist faith at a young age and has now entered into that sweet peace. He will be sorely missed.

Phillip is survived by his father, Dempsey H Barnett, and brother, Victor T. (Hally) Barnett, Ringgold,  and many aunts and cousins.
