The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office has charged a McMinn County man with several thefts.

Sheriff Eric Watson said an ongoing investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, working with detectives from the McMinn County Sheriff’s Office and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, led to the arrest of Jessie Ralph Hare for the theft of two ATVs from farms in northeastern Bradley County. He is also charged with the theft of two Yeti coolers from separate locations.

The ATVs were recovered through the assistance of Hamilton County detectives.

Further investigation by the three agencies also resulted in the recovery of a farm tractor that was stolen in Hamilton County and recovered at Hare’s residence in the Riceville community by detectives from McMinn County.

Bradley County detectives arrested Hare on April 1 and charged him with two counts of theft of a motor vehicle and two counts of theft under $500. Additional charges are pending in Hamilton County.

The success of the investigation is attributed to "heads up work and cooperation among investigators from the three sheriff’s offices."
