Dorothy Clayton Elsea, of Red Bank, went to be with her Lord and Savior and was joyfully reunited with her beloved husband, Joe Elsea, on Monday, February 8. Joining them in this reunion were her parents, Roy J. and Vivian Clayton; and brother, Roy Clayton, Jr.

Dot loved her grandchildren more than anything and enjoyed watching them participate in their activities. She loved her church Stuart Heights Baptist Church and loved traveling with the Ball Club. She was retired from American National Bank after over 30 years of service.

Survivors include her son, Roy (Karen) Elsea and their children, Ryan (Joshua) Williamson, Erin (Matthew) Carle, Michael (fiancée, Katie Saunders) Elsea; son, Rob (Cece) Elsea and their children, Blake (Blake) Elsea, Alec Elsea, Reid Elsea, and Tucker Elsea; beloved sister-in-law, Jackie Clayton.

The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 1-3 p.m. on FridayFeb. 12.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful people who work in the ICU at Memorial Hospital in Hixson for all their kindness before Mom’s home going.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stuart Heights Baptist Church or to Gideon’s International.
