Virginia Catherine Quigley, 93, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, February 8, 2016 in a local health care center.
A resident of Chattanooga since 1953, Mrs. Quigley was a charter member of St. Stephen Catholic Church where she has remained active since 1960. She was a longtime civic volunteer with the Chattanooga Area Food Bank and served as a past president of the Ladies of Charity.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Quigley; parents, Joseph and Theresa Kessler; sisters, Alberta Kessler, Lenora Neidert, Marcella Henn; brothers, Henry and Leonard Kessler.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Quigley, Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Ruth Kessler, Madison, AL, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church with Father Manuel Perez officiating. Burial will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

A rosary service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 2-4 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
