Gershwin Greene finished first in the Baylor junior class' Poetry Out Loud competition on Thursday. Margie Hussey was second and Hailey Miller was third.
Baylor's Gershwin Greene finished first in the junior class' Poetry Out Loud competition on Thursday. Margie Hussey was second and Hailey Miller was third. Margie will represent Baylor at the state competition in Nashville on March 19 as Gershwin will be competing in a swim meet on that date.
Gershwin recited The Song of the Smoke by W. E. B. Dubois, Margie chose Personal by Tony Hoagland, and Hailey recited Two Guitars by Victor Hernandez Cruz.
