Edna Kathleen Nance, 89, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.
She had lived in the Cleveland area her entire life. She loved to play the guitar, sing, and square dance. She enjoyed studying her ancestry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Wallace and Cordia Hair Wallace; husband, Joseph Walter Nance; son, Joseph William Nance; granddaughter, Tammy Greene-Turner; sisters, Pearl Varnell, Dovie Sue Malone and Lucille Gregg; and brother, William Wallace.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Greene and husband Gerald of Anderson, SC; two grandchildren, Tina Greene-Seawright and husband Kelly, Gerald R. Greene, Jr. and wife Cheryl; and great-grandchildren, Chelsea M. Turner, Cori Turner, Kayley Seawright, Sally Seawright, and Joseph Nance Greene.
The family will receive friends from 2:30-4 p.m., Monday, Feb. 8 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.
