Betty Jane Combs, 82, of Hixson, died on Friday, February 5, 2016.
She was born February 17, 1933 to the late Chester and Nellie Mae Martin.
Ms. Combs was preceded in death by brothers, J. C. , Jack, Chester, Ralph, and Bill Martin; sister Barbara McDowell. She was a special friend to many at the John Calvin Apartments.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda (Greg) Jackson; son, Robert (Renee) Little; grandchildren, Stephanie (Carl) Spain, Ray (Jen) Gordy, and Bradley Little; great-grandson, Jack Vineyard; brother, Paul (Donna) Martin; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Monday, Feb. 8, from 5-8 p.m.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Pastor Tommy Taylor officiating.
