East Ridge Police Investigate Shooting Of 16-Year-Old Boy

East Ridge Police are investigating a shooting that involved two juveniles at the 4200 block of Bennett Road.

Responding officers found a 16-year-old boy in the bedroom with a single gunshot wound to the head.  East Ridge Fire and EMS stabilized the patient and transported him by Lifeguard EMS to Erlanger ER.

Another 15-year-old juvenile boy at the scene was arrested for aggravated assault based on the results of the initial investigation.  The suspect was transported to the Juvenile Detention Unit for processing.
