Southern Adventist University will host its annual Southern 6 Trail Race on Sunday, Feb. 21, at 1 p.m.

"This is a short, family-friendly event taking place on Southern’s beautiful White Oak Mountain trail system," organizers said.

Proceeds from the event go to the university’s Outdoor Leadership program for its work providing inner-city environmental education programs to Chattanooga’s under-served student population.

Registration begins 11 a.m. Race fees are $30 for pre-registered community members, $20 for pre-registered Southern students and employees, and $20 for pre-registered members of the Chattanooga Track Club.

There is $1,000 total in prizes.
