Marie Lucille Murray, of Dalton and formerly of Franklin, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Murray; brother, Hubert Dunston; son, Kent D. Murray; and grandson, Kevin Murray.
Survivors include two sons & daughters-in-law, Don & Linda Murray of Cohutta, Bruce and Eileen Murray of Potomac Falls, VA; a daughter–in-law, Wanda Murray of Statesboro; grandchildren, Scott and Angie Murray, Todd and Kristy Murray, Chad & Amy Murray, Watonna and Jason Valakis, Robert and Cindi Murray, Tanaya and Brian Farr, Jennifer and Bryan Douberly and Joshua Douberly; 15 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Craig Dunston of Boston.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 13 at 1 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Darey Kittle officiating. Burial will be in Cambridge, MA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until the service time at Julian Peeples Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
