Santory Johnson Given 40-Year Prison Sentence In Second-Degree Murder Case

Criminal Court Judge Tom Greenholtz has sentenced Santory Johnson to 40 years in prison after he was earlier found guilty of second-degree murder. The state had sought first-degree murder in his trial. 

Witnesses told of seeing Johnson shoot Christopher Jones, 24, outside a house party the defendant was hosting Oct. 4, 2013.

Johnson allegedly shot the victim as he was getting in his car to drive away and then approached the driver’s side door, stuck his arm through the cracked window, and shot several more rounds.
