Beverly Roe, 72, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Sunday evening, February 7, 2016 in a Chattanooga hospital.
Beverly was the daughter of the late Cleo Goforth McMurray and Robert Bruce McMurray; and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Renee Roe; her sister, Gloria Dean Russell; and her brother, Ralph McMurray.
Beverly worked for Carpet Mills for many years. She loved shopping, working in her flower garden and reading her Bible. Beverly was a dedicated mother and grandmother and she loved playing games with her grandchildren. She attended the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Robin McCann and her husband Donnie and Cindy Cartwright; her son, Mitchell Roe and his wife Sherri all of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Megan Blair, Chase Carden, Sarah Roe, Will Cartwright and Colton Roe; her great-grandson, Isaiah Morgan; her brother, Reverend Robert “Bob” McMurray and his wife Leda of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Pastor Jack Epperson and Reverend Bob McMurray officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
