The Lantern is a specialized program for persons with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of memory loss. Trained associates are available to nurture and help maintain each resident’s individuality, dignity and quality of life through meaningful activities and needs-based programming. By investing time and attention in understanding prior roles, routines and interests of each resident, The Lantern memory care staff provide individualized programming that truly focuses on quality of life.

Morning Pointe has developed the components of a Meaningful Day at The Lantern adding a personalized focus to purposeful programming that moves each resident through the day. Engaging activities include Cuddle Therapy with life-like dolls that promotes calming and a connection with parenthood along with Simple C.
