Miller, James Thomas "Jimmy"

James Thomas “Jimmy” Miller, 58, of Soddy Daisy died away on Monday, February 8, 2016.

He retired from Astec Industries, and he was a US Navy veteran. He was of the Baptist faith. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Polly Miller, and son, Keith Miller. 

Survivors include his wife, Carol Miller of Soddy Daisy; daughters, Lorie Mears, Latisha Cranmore, and Tabitha Coleburn all of Soddy Daisy; brothers, Tom Miller Jr. and Jerry Mack, both of Dayton, TN; sisters Donna Troutman of Dayton, and Mary Pate and Jean Troup of Soddy-Daisy; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in East Soddy Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12.
