GDOL To Help Mohawk Recruit Workers In Dalton On Feb. 11

The Georgia Department of Labor will help IVC, a division of Mohawk Industries, recruit 60 workers for the company’s Dalton facility.

The recruitment will be held Thursday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the GDOL’s Dalton Career Center located at 1406 Chattanooga Ave.

The company is recruiting lift truck operators, electrical engineers, inspectors, operators and lead operators/finishing, quality inspector, receiver/raw materials, ink maker, utility print press, coating table operator, extruder/relief, ink lead, compounding utility, operator/printing press, re-inspect relief-utility finisher and utility calendar laminating.

Salaries will depend on the position and experience.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or General Education Diploma.

The company will conduct a background check and drug-screening test on selected applicants.
