Seize The Laughter Featuring Skits From Carol Burnett Show Runs Feb. 3-5

Carpe Risus presents, 'Seize the Laughter', a variety show featuring skits from The Carol Burnett Show, coming to the Catoosa County Colonnade Feb. 3-5, 2017. There will be nearly two hours of skit comedy, live music and fun.  

Performances are Friday, Feb. 3, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 5, at 2:30 p.m. 

Reserved seat tickets are available at the Colonnade Theatre Box Office at 264 Catoosa Cir. They can also be purchased by phone by calling 706.935-9000 or online at colonadecenter.org.  Tickets cost $8, $10 or $12 depending on seating location.   

Director John Lee says, “The Carol Burnett Show is timeless. All ages will laugh at the zany antics until their sides split.” 

The Carol Burnett Show ran for 11 seasons beginning in 1967 and during its run Carol, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence, Lyle Waggoner, Tim Conway and host of guest stars made the audience laugh out loud. 

Director John Lee’s cast of characters features all local actors from Chattanooga and North Georgia including Bobby Daniels, Cindi Wright, Dillon Walker, Aron Nifong, Colton Pankau, Cristian Caradid, Noah Sample , Kayla Brogdon, Myles Troxler, Joey Brogdon, Beth Myers, Sean Self, Jessica Smith, Emily Miller, Felicia Nepp, Gavin Russell, Katie Hernandez, Evan Myers, Tracie Kosko, Ed Huckabee, Carla Stamey, Tina Brogdon and two stage managers are Faith Nifong and Dominy Cooper.
