Day Of The Legs Is Saturday

  • Wednesday, December 7, 2016

Barking Legs Theater is celebrating 24 years of music, dance, and art with Day of the Legs on Saturday.

Beginning at 2 p.m. there will be activities in art, music and movement for children and families accompanied by live music from children's musician Alex Volz. There will also be seven visual artists from the Chattanooga community painting legs on the front of the building.

Gears will shift at 6 p.m. unveiling the new legs and kicking off an evening of food, drinks, and performances. There will be musical sets from Pashin, Stratton Tingle, Swayvvo, Moondogg Sykes, Dana, Owens, Demond Moultrie, and many more.  There will also be poets from Velvet Poetry Productions, fire performers, and a special DJ set to open the floor to dancing.

Drinks and cocktails will be served at the bar with food provided by the Grilled Cheese Emergency and World Food Tribe.

This event is free.  The public is asked to bring friends who have never been to Barking Legs.
