Officers answering a burglary in progress call on 6th Avenue wound up making three arrests.

Charged with aggravated burglary were Mark Stephen Brady, 45, of 2111 Rogers Road, and Jason Ott Mincy, 34, of 3203 S. Orchard Knob Ave.

In an incident on Friday, the homeowner said her neighbor told her there were individuals breaking into her home and taking items out.

Officers found two men and a woman at the house with household items. Brady and Mincy were detained along with Glenda Osmundsen.

A flatbed truck had been loaded with items and there were other items in the yard.

Brady and Ms. Osmundsen claimed that Mincy asked them to help remove items from the home. They both said they knew the house did not belong to Mincy.

Police said Brady had items in his pocket and that was not consistent with his story.

Mincy had valuable coins and jewelry in his front pockets.

A baggie of crystal meth was also found on Mincy. Police said he later swallowed the meth. He was then rushed to the hospital.

Mincy was also charged with evading arrest after officers had to wrestle him to the ground. He was also charged with possession of meth and tampering with evidence.

The homeowner said she had not given anyone permission to take her items.
