Alma Jean Ostendorf, 84, of Athens, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, December 2, 2016.
Born in Lake City, Tennessee on March 14, 1932, she had lived in the Meigs and McMinn County area for the last 20 years after retirement from Holiday Inn. She was a woman of strong faith, and member of the Red Hat Society and loved arts, crafts and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Ben Frazier of Athens; step-children, Sonya Martinez and husband Roberto of Athens, Mark Frazier of Rossville, GA and Renee’ Frazier and husband John Libernach of Navarre Beach, FL; grandchildren, Levi Graham of San Antonio, TX, Heather Martinez of Harlingen, TX, Laelin Martinez of Athens, Michelle Martinez of Laferia, TX and Jasmine Coleman of Navarre Beach. FL; and great-grandchildren, Jaeden Ramon, Jovaughn Ramon and Riley Coleman.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday Dec. 18 at 2p.m. from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m on Sunday, Dec. 18 at the Serenity Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
