Brenda Prestwood Millican, 74, of East Ridge, died on Sunday, December 4, 2015.

Mrs. Millican was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was a graduate of Central High School and a former member of Hughes Avenue Baptist Church. Brenda was previously employed as a bookkeeper at Calhoun Pharmacy, Bank of East Ridge before retiring from Cornerstone Community Bank.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Carl Frank Millican; and her parents, Gene and Mary Elizabeth Prestwood.

Surviving are her daughters, Lori (Dale) Elder and Sherry (Tommy) Jordan; granddaughter, Jennifer Kilpatrick and her father, David Strickland; sister-in-law, Annie Laura (Steve) Wyatt; brother-in-law, James R. Millican; and nephew, James Millican.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Pruitt Health Care in Fort Oglethorpe for their love and care.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
