  • Friday, December 2, 2016

Former mayoral candidate and longtime City of Chattanooga employee, Guy Satterfield will join Councilman Larry Grohn’s campaign team as a senior advisor.

Councilman Grohn said, “Guy Satterfield and his years of expertise as an employee for our great city is a great resource to the campaign, my staff and the ideas that we share. With Mr. Satterfield’s extensive long time service in sewer and waste water infrastructure, makes him an invaluable asset to the Grohn Campaign team."

Mr. Satterfield brings years’ worth of experience under multiple city mayors to the thoughts and policy direction of Mr. Grohn’s campaign. Most of Mr. Satterfield’s platform during the 2013 election cycle has been implemented by the current administration. Councilman Grohn and Mr. Satterfield both agree that a new strategy to take on crime must be at the forefront of the next administration, as well as confronting government waste and corruption.

Former Mayoral Candidate Guy Satterfield said, “I am humbled and honored to be a part of Larry Grohn’s campaign, Larry has both the political and business experience to move our great city forward. He has a genuine interest in getting the most of each tax dollar. He believes as I do that city government should be a government of  the tax paying citizens – open, transparent, and operated with the utmost regard for the future of Chattanooga.”
