Montrell Pardue
A number of police officers had to go to UTC early Saturday morning to quell a disturbance involving a Moc football player.
Montrell Pardue, 20, was charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication and resisting arrest.
Officers responded shortly after 2 a.m. to the Douglas Heights Apartments for a disorder in an elevator on the fourth floor. The officer on the scene called for emergency backup.
Police said Pardue began to curse officers, at one point calling them "punk a-- white b------."
He had a strong odor of alcohol, the report says.
Police had to take Pardue to the ground and grab his arms to get him under control.
Officers said as he was led away he began to talk about religious matters, including Jerusalem and loving God.
The report says Pardue was very abrasive with personnel checking him into the Hamilton County Jail.
Pardue is a sophomore defensive back from Clarksville, Tn.
