Voices Of Lee Visits Morning Pointe Of Hixson

  • Thursday, December 1, 2016
The Voices of Lee visited the residents at Morning Pointe of Hixson, bringing with them bright smiles, beautiful songs and the season's greetings from their hearts.

The choir from Lee University in Cleveland is known for its famous appearances, including the 2012 Presidential Inauguration and nationally broadcasted singing competitions. The Voices of Lee recently performed on the Country Music Association Christmas Show with Rascal Flatts.

Yet, between their travels to various venues, the choir took one of their free evenings to entertain the seniors at the assisted living and memory care community during Family Night.

"We were grateful that they chose to come and sing for us," said Emma Myers, life enrichment director at Morning Pointe.
"Our gratitude to them for bringing their beautiful voices is an understatement."

As part of the life enrichment and Meaningful Day programs, the assisted living and memory care community welcomes choirs and musicians to bring the joy of music therapy to the residents.

Morning Pointe of Hixson, at 5501 Old Hixson Pike, is one of five Morning Pointe Senior Living communities in the Chattanooga area. For more information, call 423 847-1370.
