Forty students, ranging from 4–12 years old, have been working for the past four months to perfect their musical performances in order to perform in Christmas with Expression Engine, the 1st Annual Holiday Concert hosted by the East Lake Expression Engine. The musical concert will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at New City Fellowship, 2424 E. 3rd St.

“We will have musical performances by our orchestra, choir, and the bucket band,” said Elisabeth O’Neil, executive director of East Lake Express Engine. “The students’ are extremely excited about performing in their first holiday concert. I can guarantee that each performance will be quite entertaining.”

Admission to the concert is free; however, a love offering will be collected. Proceeds from the offering will benefit students enrolled in East Lake Expression Engine’s after school program.
