Choral Arts Presents O Magnum Mysterium Dec. 15

Choral Arts of Chattanooga will present O Magnum Mysterium on Thursday, Dec. 15, 7:30 p.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, 700 Pine St. 

Choral Arts invites the public to experience the Christmas beauty at its 2016 Christmas concert, conducted by Artistic Director Darrin Hassevoort.

This performance includes music by composers from Palestrina, Tallis, and Mendelssohn to Manz, Busto, and Gjeilo.   Also featured are portions of Robert Shaw's perennial favorite, The Many Moods of Christmas.   The grand finale of the concert will be the other Hallelujah Chorus, the one from Beethoven's Mount of Olives.

Attendance is free and donations are appreciated.
