Volkswagen on Thursday unveiled the new seven-passenger Atlas SUV that will be built in Chattanooga.
VW officials said, "With a third row, up to 96.8 cubic feet of cargo space with the second- and third-row seats folded down, plus smart technology like nine available Driver Assistance features, it’s roomy enough to fit your family and our big ideas all at once."
VW said the Atlas was designed to handle up to 96.8 cubic feet of cargo space with the second- and third-row seats folded down, which can be configured specifically to help haul belongings.
On smart technology in the SUV, VW officials said, "Tech gets smart and highly savvy with an available customizable Volkswagen Digital Cockpit and nine available Driver Assistance features to help give you more peace of mind on the road."
