A second person has been arrested from a violent credit union robbery on Gunbarrel Road last Tuesday.

Quincy Richards was taken into custody on the day of the holdup after he tried to escape by running across I-75.

Police have now arrested Dorsey Eugene McGahee, 38, of 810 Belle Vista.

Officers said the vehicle used by the robbers was rented from a company where McGahee had been an employee.

Inside the vehicle officers found a gun, a toboggan and one of the victim's purses.

The keys in the ignition had keys attached to them that did not belong to the vehicle. Police said they belonged to a Cadillac owned by McGahee as well as a house key to his mother's house where he has been living.

Police said McGahee, during a call from the jail, confessed to his family that he was involved in the credit union robbery.
