The Epilepsy Foundation of Southeast Tennessee is hosting its second annual Walk to Fight Epilepsy on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 1-3 p.m at Warner Park.  

The fun walk is costume-themed and dog-friendly, and it includes vendors, cloggers, mask-making, the Nick Lutsko Band, Looie the Lookout and more.   

One in 50 children has epilepsy and one such child is Satchel.  Satchel lives with his family on Signal Mountain.  His mother Jeni describes his fight against epilepsy this way: "Epilepsy is so rude! It pops into your day unexpectedly, uninvited, and definitely unwanted...The worry, the emotions, the after-affects."    

Jeni says, "I just want Satchel to get to be a kid with sweet friends and a love of life.  A life without seizures would be fantastic too!"
