Debra Kay Martin, 62, of Whitwell, Tennessee, died on Thursday, October 20, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Kay retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield and later worked for McCrights & Associates. She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert (Bud) Miller; and brother, Dr. Barney E. Miller.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Scott Martin; mother, Marcella Wear Miller; children, Lori (Bruce) Dodd of Tunnel Hill, GA, Jeff (Tristen Bailey) Crisp of Ringgold, GA, David Crisp, Christopher (Beth) Martin and Travis (Jerica Rich) Martin all of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Bailey Hale Dodd, Katy Dodd, Calvin Dodd, Savannah Martin, Chloe Ripple and Mason Ray Martin; great-grandchild, Elijah Burger; sister-in-law, Dr. Merry Noel Miller; niece, Dr. Melanie Kay Miller; nephew, Dr. Corwin A. Miller; several cousins; and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. CST Monday, Oct. 24 in the Pryor Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 12-2 p.m. CST Monday, Oct. 24 at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
